Some items in the world are considered '''artifacts'''. Two main types exist: ''common'' and ''rare'' artifacts. Both types of artifacts are created from body parts of gods, which were willingly separated and formed by the god themselves. Therefore, harvesting gods is not possible. Body parts that have been turned into artifacts will not regrow, even if the mortal's body is reformed.
Common artifacts are classified as being of a destructive kind with the ability to harm and kill the mortal form of a god.

== Rare artifacts ==
Rare artifacts act as extensions of the wielders body. They can take the form of additional arms, legs, wings, and more.

Varundar, widely known as the golden lands, presents a variety of endless meadows and forests filled with big and small villages, modern and traditional cities and overgrown abandoned structures.

Varundar regions:

Ayla region

The ayla region consists of a big scottish pine tree forest at the western coast of Varundar. Sandy beaches, rocky cliffs and tall, dry grass are distinctive features of the ayla region. During sunrise and sunset, the ayla region gets bathed in golden light from which Varundar owes it’s nickname. Furthermore, the ayla region counts as one of the core characteristics of Varundar.

Gaiza region

The gaiza region marks another core characteristic of Varundar. The distinctive hilly meadow filled with unnaturally tall and juicy grass connects to the ayla region almost seamlessly and barely contains any trees or bushes outside the flowing border. Similar to the ayla region, the gaiza region’s charm is enhanced by weather phenomenons and different times of day: every now and then, big thunderstorms appear almost out of thin air and transform the gaiza region into a wild sea of grass (storm hut?). (dragontail grass)

Talune region

The east of Varundar connects to the neighboring country Crone. Born from the mountainous characteristics of Crone, the talune region rises above Varundar. This region is embellished with pine trees, little mountain streams and countless wildflowers and marks the last suitable area for most plants to grow before the mountains get too tall and steep. Thick fog and morning dew are distinctive weather characteristics of the talune region.

Fahlen region

The fahlen region covers a thick forest of overgrown ambala trees and lots of fern and moss, occasionally interrupted by streams and narrow rivers. Due to the rainy weather and the humid climate, various mosses and tendrils give the trees a shape unique to the fahlen region and despite the beauty of the forest, the fahlen region is mostly uninhabited by rivvi.

The Matsuri festival marks the yearly arrival of spirits and gods and is celebrated an entire month. The festival consists of big parades that move across the world from (…) to mount Ellis to welcome both spirits and gods. Music, dances and attire are an important part of the festival tradition and get honorably fulfilled every year. After the festival, many gods and spirits stay on Dione in their mortal bodies, experiencing life as a rivvi for a few months until the Kamiari festival of departure.

Kamiari (late spirit festival)

The Kamiari festival functions as counterpart of the Matsuri festival and therefore marks the yearly departure of the gods and spirits. The festival also holds on for a month and is lead by music, dances and attire. Starting on mount Ellis, the participants watch the gods depart and then accompany the spirits back to (…).
