Varundar (also known as the golden lands) is a country on the planet of Dione. It is characterised by endless meadows and forests filled with big and small villages, modern and traditional cities and overgrown abandoned structures. It consists of multiple regions, mainly the Ayla, Gaiza, Talune and Fahlen regions.

Ayla region

The Ayla region is a region at the western coast of Varundar. It consists of big Scottish pine tree forests, sandy beaches, rocky cliffs, and tall dry grass. During sunrise and sunset, the Ayla region gets bathed in golden light from which Varundar gets its nickname. Furthermore, the Ayla region counts as on the of the core regions of Varundar.

Gaiza region

The Gaiza region marks another core region of Varundar. The distinctive hilly meadow filled with unnaturally tall and juicy grass connects to the Ayla region almost seamlessly and barely contains any trees or bushes outside the flowing border. Similar to the Ayla region, the region's charm is enhanced by weather phenomenons at different times of the day. Every now and then big thunderstorms appear almost out of thin air and transform the region into a wild sea of grass (storm hut?) (dragontail grass).

Talune region

The east of Varundar connects to the neighbouring country Crone. Born from the mountainous characteristics of Crone, the Talune region rises above Varundar. The region is embellished with pine trees, little mountain streams and countless wildflowers. It marks the last habitable area for most plants to grow, before the mountains get too tall and steep. Thick fog and morning dew are distinctive weather characteristics of the Talune region.

Fahlen region

The Fahlen region consists of a thick forest of overgrown Ambala trees and lots of fern and moss, occasionally interrupted by streams and narrow rivers. Due to the rainy weather and the humid climate, various mosses and tendrils give the trees a shape unique to the Fahlen region and despite the beauty of the forest, the region is mostly uninhabited by Rivvi.
